Do US stock CFD products have dividends?

US stock CFD products have dividends, and will be calculated based on the actual contract size held by the customer. D Prime will charge 1% of the actual dividend fee as a handling fee.

Among them, the long position will receive the dividend distributed by the listed company, while the short position will be deducted the corresponding dividend. The calculation formula is as follows:

    • Calculation formula for long positions: number of hands * contract specification * dividend per share * (1-1)
    • Short position calculation formula: lot size * contract specification * dividend per share * (1+1)

Example:
The client holds a long position of 1 Tesla stock CFD in D Prime. At this time, Tesla announces a cash dividend distribution plan of US$1 per share. The specification of D Prime's Tesla CFD is 10 shares per lot. After deducting the dividend fee, the client will receive US$9.9.

Calculation formula:

    • Lot size (1) * contract specification (10) * dividend per share (1) * (1-1) = 9.9

If the customer holds a short position, it will be deducted 10.1 US dollars:

Calculation formula:

    • Lot size (1) * contract specification (10) * dividend per share (1) * (1+1) = 10.1

The calculation results of all dividends and the total handling fee will be deducted from the client's trading account, and you can check it in the account's historical orders.
